Intel Windows 10 Dim Display Fix

An issue exists between certain Intel graphics chips and Windows 10 that causes the display to dim and no amount of pressing the brightness keys will help. In order to fix this you must edit the registry key found here:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000] Then in the left pane select:
"FeatureTestControl"=
Edit the value:
"Edit DWORD 32 bit"= f008 Then Restart Computer This should resolve your issue. Unfortunately it may arise again with feature updates to windows 10, however the fix should continue to work. We will edit this post as needed.
